The little Soap and Candle Company
natural handmade soaps and candles from the north west highlands
ABOUT ME
" My name is Helen Lambert I am the owner of Drumbeg Craft Shop and The little Soap & Candle Company. I have
lived in the highland village of Drumbeg for almost 10 years. Establishing my business in 2000, from my log cabin in
the mountains I produce a range of natural candles and luxury greeting cards.

Everything I make is produced entirely by hand, my candles contain no petroleum based paraffin wax or animal
products, I use natural GM free vegetable wax from sustainable sources ensuring a clean long burning product. I use
only the finest essential oils blending my own 'recipes' . I also use top quality fragrances in some of my candles.
Everything is made in small batches to ensure quality, purity and freshness.

All soaps and toiletries have been certified by cosmetic chemists, complying with strict safety assessment laws required
to sell soap / cosmetics within the EU. No products are tested on animals.
At present my products are available to purchase in person from my craft shop in Drumbeg from mid April - mid Oct,
and ALL YEAR by mail order. Stockists also include The Natural Soap Company, Wells next the Sea, Norfolk,
Elphin Tearooms, Elphin, and Celtic Leather, Ullapool, Ross-Shire. I sincerely hope you enjoy using my products as
much as I enjoy making them.

To those of you who have supported my business over the years returning again and again to my little shop a
massive thank you, your patronage is very much appreciated, and to all who have contacted me with messages of
sympathy following the devastating loss of my beloved husband John in May 06, I am most grateful for your kind
words and support. The place will never be the same without him.

Best wishes
Helen X

Lots of you ask about my old tom cat when you visit, wondering if he is still going strong, sadly he fell to sleep
on 31/12/07 at the grand old age of 21. He was a wonderful little companion for all those years and myself and
my boys will miss him terribly, but he was spoilt rotten and he had a very happy, very long life.
